HMMM… where to begin?

When many of us think of a scale the first thing we think of is the major scale and perhaps
fluffy images of the sound of music. Do, a Deer and so forth. (See Figure 2)

One simple way to picture a major scale is the white keys from C to C on a keyboard.

Notice the notes on the music staff hover directly below the corresponding notes on the keyboard.

On the bottom right you will recognize the tablature for stringed instruments.

Roll over any of the notes on the music staff, keyboard or strings below to hear the various notes.
