Lydian Flat 7

The Lydian flat seven scale one that you find around a surprising amount in lists of scales.

While the major third in this scale means that we can use it over all major chords and dominant chords, the minor seventh gives this scale an airy, jazzy, haunting feel.

This will make your solos in a major key sound strangely somber and thoughtful, while agreeing with the major tonality.

Emphasize the sharp 4 and flat seven in your phrasing but as always, remember to resolve gracefully.
